Telling the stories of a few to share what millions of women face in our prison system day in and day out. Incarceration has become a one-size-fits all solution to the issues our society face. Even with all the pain and suffering of the being inside, its when people leave prison where they face their worst nightmares. Reentering society can be an almost impossible challenge when you have mouths to feed and no way to make income, get a licenses, vote, get a lease of any kind or banking. With the aim of highlighting several women who have no only overcome these insurmountable barriers, but have become lawyers, educators, outspoken voices for the plight our women face in Americans aim at becoming a better society.
